General Information

BK-C278 is an associative thickener rheological additive, which improves KU viscosity and high shear viscosity. It is suitable for environmental protection coatings, inks, sealants and finishing agents, and it can be used with acrylic thickener and hydrophobic modified hydroxyethyl cellulose. The primary film thickness, leveling, gloss, film fullness and water resistance of the coating can be effectively improved.

Usage Methods

BK-C278 is an associative thickener rheological additive. It can be thickened and used separately for fine particle emulsion or hydrophobic emulsion. The addition amount is between 0.5 and 2%. It can be diluted with 1:1 alcohol ether solvent when added.

For other emulsions and waterborne systems, the thickening effect of acrylic thickener and hydroxyethyl cellulose thickening system can be effectively improved. And the opening effect, leveling and coating thickness can also be improved. The covering power, gloss, film fullness and water resistance can be improved. Acrylic acid thickener or hydrophobic modified hydroxyethyl cellulose were used to adjust the viscosity to a certain extent, then BK-C278 thickening rheological agent was added to improve the fluidity and high shear viscosity, with the addition of 0.2-0.6%.

Storage and Transportation

200 kg ,50kg and 20 kg plastic drum, it can be stored for a year under the room temperature.
